A texture of simple knits and purls creates this subtly patterned cowl.

Yarn

2 contrasting skeins of Koigu Painter’s Palette Premium Merino (175yd/50g)

Needles & notions

US 4/3.5 mm circular needle – 24” length

Stitch marker,

needle for weaving in ends

Choose two colors that will contrast, perhaps one more solid and the other more multicolored, or one very dark and one light.

Decide which to use for your “main color”; color “A”. My version uses the darker, more solid color as main color. It looks good both ways!
