It is knitted top-down, seamlessly in one piece. The neckline is started using the invisible provisional cast-on method, raglan increases are worked to create the yoke section. The sleeve stitches are placed on hold whilst the body is completed and then picked up and knitted in the round. Knitting from top to bottom allows for the cardigan to be easily tried on so that the body and sleeves can be adjusted exactly to your desired length.
