You start with the ribbed hem and then knit the main part in garter stitch and the centred front cable panel until the underarms, allowing you to adapt the length to your preferences by adding or omitting repeats. Front and back are then continued separately and knitted flat. Short rows shape the shoulder drop, while cast-off and decreased stitches shape the front neck. After joining the shoulders with a 3-needle cast-off, you pick up the sleeve stitches around the arm openings working the arms in the round to the cuffs.
